Policing Flint is a virtual reality film by Zack Canepari and Drea Cooper. Scored by Plied Sound.
"From Oakland to Ferguson to Chicago to Flint, policing in America is in crisis. Due to recent tragedies, many citizens are calling into question the legitimacy of the police. But the public does not often get to see or understand what police deal with every day. In Policing Flint audiences are offered a window into the world of how the men and women of the Flint PD approach their work. By experiencing their physical perspectives and hearing narration from officers faced with the complexities of policing, the audience will gain an understanding of what the police see and think as they go out on patrol or investigate a crime."
The film premiered at the New York Film Festival and can be seen through the New York Times Virtual Reality app.
